Project of creating mini hotels in small cities presented at CEF 2016 Forum

Representatives of Lipetsk region have presented a project of creating mini hotels in small cities of the region at the exhibition of investment projects of the Central Russian Economic Forum.

The company buys out old one-storey buildings sometimes built over 100 years ago and restructure them as hotels with comfortable single or double rooms. Such hotels are already in operation in Yelets and Dankov, the centers of tourist and recreational clusters.

Of particular interest to the exhibition visitors was the “New Kursk – Green Area” construction project. The project developers employed a comprehensive approach to creating a new residential estate. The purpose of this project is to build a calm green housing estate in a picturesque place on the bank of the Tuskar River. The cost of the project cost is RUB 9.4 billion. The project employs a public-private partnership scheme and involves small and medium-sized businesses of Kursk region.

The 5th Central Russian Economic Forum opened today, on July 1, 2016 in Kursk. The Forum Events include 12 cross-industry discussions, 2 workshops, 4 exhibitions, 3 competitions.

The Forum addresses a number of topics, including the strategy of creating high-technology industry of the future, development of rural areas and strengthening of Russia’s food security, small and medium-sized businesses in the next economy, city as an aesthetic and functional human environment, preservation of architectural monuments in ancient cities, redevelopment of industrial zones in Central Russia, public-private partnership in the urban infrastructure sector, optimization of interaction between the state machinery and the business community, prospects of introducing the one-stop system in Russia. The Forum will include the cross-industry dialogue “Integration of public healthcare, education, physical training and sports as a public health maintenance factor,” the round table “Preservation and accumulation of cultural heritage for future generations.”

This year, the 5th Central Russian Economic Forum has considerably expanded its geographic footprint attracting representatives of Germany, Israel, Bulgaria, India, Belarus. The title partner of the Forum is JSC Mikhailovsky GOK. The Forum sponsors are Pharmstandard-Leksredstva JSC, JSC Rosselkhozbank, Prodimex, JSC KONTI-RUS.
